How Do You ACCIDENTALLY Hit A Full-Court Shot?

You’ll see it often over the season: with only a couple of seconds left in an early period, a player attempts a full-court buzzer beater. That time would be wasted anyway, and all you can do is fail, but rarely does someone actually get the bucket. So could you imagine hitting that shot by accident? That’s what happened to Jae Crowder of the Celtics Wednesday night. With seconds left in the first half, he attempted a Hail Mary inbounds pass to Jared Sullinger, and by the dumbest of dumb luck, he actually got nothing-but-net from behind his own baseline. Obviously, that doesn’t count, but at least he has the video to prove it.
