The Conan Show is Going to Qatar

Conan O’Brien and crew are continuing to take their show on the road to unusual places with a military themed show. Next week, the Conan show will be the first late night show to entertain troops and tape a show at the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. Their making the trip along with FLOTUS Michelle Obama, Deadline reported Friday.
O’Brien has been to Kuwait and Bahrain to entertain troops, but didn’t tape a show on the visit which took place in 2003. Conan took his show to Cuba earlier this year with big ratings results, and had another first when he broadcast live from Comic Con in San Diego. He’s taken his show to Ireland, Finland, and Toronto and recently taped a show in Armenia that will air November 17.
