Andy Kindler, Hitman of Comedy Signs Deal with UPS Ground

Wednesday night Conan described guest Andy Kindler as ‘one of the funniest people we know,’ and you know that’s true because they spent the next 10 minutes laughing at the fact that Kindler was having a tough time getting big laughs while he assaulted the audience with some of the best Kindler material yet.
Maybe that’s why he’s given himself the nicknames, “the premise whisperer”, the hitman of comedy, the guy who securely fastens the roof, Gil O. Tine, and the comedian’s comedian’s comedian. Nobody fails as beautifully as Kindler. He’s a pro.
“I’m edgy that’s my problem. My act is like walking on a tightrope on the ground,” he said. “I’m like Chris Rock without the charisma, the confidence, or the material.”
Is Andy developing shows? Yes! But he’s not going with Amazon like everyone else, Andy paves his own path. He’s signed a deal with UPS Ground, and is in negotiations with Fedex.
As Conan said, about Kindler, ‘you might take some time to heat up but 20 minutes after you leave, you’ll be killing.’
Kindler did have one truthful admission during his panel with Conan– he admitted he loves watching documentaries about Hitler. So the good news is, despite a troubled history, there’s still hope for a Kindler-Cumia collaboration someday.
Andy will be performing at the Boston Comedy festival November 10th!
