Topps Refuses To Give Daniel Murphy Bat To 12-Year-Old Who Bought It
A 11-year-old Mets fan from Queens used $175 of birthday money to buy a signed Daniel Murphy bat. Topps was planning to ship the order, but after Murphy broke the record by hitting home runs in six straight games, the site changed their mind. They are refusing to ship the bat, which is now worth way more. At the kid’s $5 per week allowance, he should be able to afford the bat in 40 years.
