Meet the Emperor of the Millennial Interet: PewDiePie Stops By the Colbert Show

PewDiePie, the man who has crushed everyone in the world to get the world record for YouTube subscribers, was a guest on the Late Show last night. PDP created his empire by playing video games, and doesn’t watch television. He’s ‘unplugged’at least from the tv world.

Colbert got a big pop from the audience when he said “I want to thank the internet for allowing their emperor to be here this evening.”

PewDiePie described what he does as “we’re hanging out. As if you were sitting with a friend on the couch playing games together.”

He shared some of his favorite Swedish curse words with Colbert, and most of them didn’t make the air. If you don’t understand his appeal, its probably because like us, you are old. And old is getting younger and younger every year.
