Los Angeles Is So Desperate That It Is Going To Borrow Water From Las Vegas

In a deal that seems too unlikely to be true, the city of Los Angeles signed off on a $45 million deal with Las Vegas to borrow water for 300,000 homes. Southern California is in the midst of one of it’s worst droughts in history and now Las Vegas – city in the desert – will give LA it’s water from the Hoover Dam, which itself is already depleted. You know, because it’s important for the city of Los Angeles insure their celebrities have the greenest lawns possible.
