Oh you dawg! Comedy news takes a dip into the gossip column today.

Comedian Mike Epps got busted a few days ago flirting on twitter. First by his wife, and then by Perez Hilton causing the story to spread around the internet like schoolyard gossip. Now he’s blaming his nephew, saying that his young family member sometimes uses Epps twitter handle to get some freak nasty action on social media.

Or maybe it was all just innocent. But here’s the little gossipy details that are floating around the web this week. Epps twitter handle sends a tweet over to a young lady asking why she quit her instagram account. She replies that she wasn’t getting enough love. Epps account responds to her with a simple “DM me.”

Now Epps (or his nephew) may have just been interested in some conversation, or giving the young lady some show tickets, but Epps wife, Mechelle was watching and responded with just a pair of eyeball emojis. Message loud and clear, I’m watching.

Today it was all cleared up thank goodness when Epps apologized to fans for the situation and explained it all with this tweet. Don’t think it’s the fans who are looking for the apology here though.
