Minor Leaguer Becomes First Baseball Player Ever To Come Out As Gay
Milwaukee Brewers minor leaguer David Denson became the first player ever affiliated with a Major League Baseball team to come out as gay. Denson, with advice from Billy Bean, told his teammates, then came out to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal. Denson just became the most famous minor leaguer with an under-250 batting average.
