UK Comic Rushes Off Stage To Assist After Woman Falls Down Stairs

What do you do when a woman gets hurt during your comedy performance? Apparently if you’re in Devon, England, you run off the stage and offer first aid.
Uk comedian Michael McIntyre was doing a show at Plymouth Pavilions, in Devon, England when a woman in the audience took a hard fall down some stairs. He rushed out to help her yelling “I’m a first aider”, according to Daily Mail. Which obviously would make the audience break into laughter. Guess they thought it was a bit, particularly since an injured person isn’t usually expecting the performer to come down off the stage to administer first aid.
You can hear McIntyre on the tape saying “that’s not good” and hung around while paramedics assisted her with her injuries. Once back on stage, McIntyre said it didn’t seem right to continue under the circumstances, and took a break to do an impromptu meet and greet with the audience before finishing the show.
Selfies for everyone!
