Chris Gethard Has Pieces of the Letterman Set on His Set Now
After David Letterman’s last show, like most of us Chris Gethard was shocked and sad to find out that they were throwing most of the Letterman set into dumpsters. Unlike most of us Chris grabbed a bunch of guys, and ran over to salvage some things.
Last night on Late Night, Chris told Seth Meyers that he thought it was really shameful that such important set pieces would get thrown into the garbage so he ran down to salvage what he could. He had planned to just keep it around for karma purposes, but later managed to get permission from the Letterman camp to actually have it visible as part of their set. If you’ve never watched The Chris Gethard Show this might seem confusing, but you can really find room for anything on the Chris Gethard Show Set, which is made up junk collected from fans all over the country.
Now, Gethard says, “I’m proud to say I perform amongst David Letterman’s garbage.”
