Cosby Admitted in 2005 He Got Drugs To Get Women to Have Sex
Is this the Cosby smoking gun? It sure looks that way.
Remember those embarrassing documents that Cosby’s lawyers didn’t want released? They are now public, and they are definitely embarrassing, but not just because they revealed personal information about his family. The AP has them and they’re reporting that “Cosby said he got drugs to give women for sex.”
The AP is reporting that in 2005 Bill Cosby admitted that he obtained quaaludes with the intention of using them to give to young women so he could have sex with them. He also admitted that he gave them to at least one woman and “other people.” The records were obtained after AP Press went to court to seek the release of records documenting Cosby’s deposition in the case filed by Andrea Constand. The case was settled and all the details were subject to a confidentiality agreement.
According to AP, Cosby said he got seven quaalude prescriptions in the 1970s, but did not say whether or not he had saved the pills.
“When you got the quaaludes, was it in your mind that you were going to use these quaaludes for young women that you wanted to have sex with?” lawyer Dolores M. Troiani asked.
“Yes,” Cosby answered on Sept. 29, 2005.
“Did you ever give any of these young women the quaaludes without their knowledge?”
Cosby’s lawyer objected to that question, but after a motion was made before a judge to force Cosby to answer the question, Cosby later said he had given the plaintiff Benadryl, the AP revealed. Two other women who testified said they had been given quaaludes, with their knowledge.
