Annoyed Rich Vos Calls Comedian Who Left Him Off 1,000 Top Stand-Ups List
In mocking the constant ranking of stand-ups many websites do, comedian Zach Broussard made a joke-list of the “Top 1,000 Comedians of 2014 (So Far!)”. The list is clearly a joke as names jump around from headliners to open mic comedians to some ranked in alphabetical order. Yet Rich Vos read the list and felt excluded.
On a recent Legion of Skanks podcast, Vos revealed that he had read the entire list twice and was offended that he was not on the list. With encouragement from the other comics, Vos called Broussard to ask how he could not be included in the best 1,000 comedians. It particularly hurt Vos that comedian Bonnie McFarlane, his wife, was included on the list. The conversation is hilarious.
