Taran Killam: King of Falling on the Last Take

Taran Killam was a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night and talked about getting a rare action role on Saturday Night Live. Blazer is an 80’s type cop, think Magnum PI, and Killam got to slide over hoods of cars, hurdle buildings and be a hero. He even did the ultimate move, “land, do a somersault, and then lower sunglasses.” and landed it perfectly. Until the second take, where he ate pavement.
Turns out that Killam is the king of failing on the last take. Yeah when you eat turf, that’s gonna be the last take.
