New Nikki Glaser Sex Talk Series and Hour Special Coming to Comedy Central

Comedy Central is in the Nikki Glaser business in a big way, starting with a 10 episode sex series coming to the network next year, and a brand new one hour special.

“Not Safe with Nikki Glaser” will be a weekly talk/variety comedy show hosted by Nikki with comedian guests, pre-taped segments and social experiments, with a focus on the current state of modern dating (translation, sex). Glaser and her guests will share personal stories about sex, relationships and other taboo topics and they’ll be interacting with the audience too.  Comedy Central hasn’t explained exactly how this will work, but the audience will be encouraged to share their own NSFW content with Glaser across multiple platforms. The ten episode weekly series will debut in 2016.

“I’m deeply touched that Comedy Central has decided to fulfill my Make-A-Wish dream of hosting a comedy show about sex. My parents are very proud (of my sister, who is a teacher),” said Glaser.

Kent Alterman, president of Original Programming for Comedy Central added, ““I was shocked to learn our fans have such keen interest in sex…Nikki is the perfect talent to satisfy them.”

Glaser is no newbie in the talk show game, she co-hosted her own late night talk show “Nikki & Sara LIVE” with Sara Schaefer for MTV for two seasons.

Comedy Central has also signed Nikki to do a one-hour original stand-up special set to tape this fall. It will be executive produced by Glaser and Murray.
