Just For Laughs Is Coming to Network TV With a Two Hour Special and More

This week at the CW Network Upfront, Just For Laughs and the CW announced that they’ve signed a deal that will undoubtably continue expand the reach of the world’s largest comedy festival.
The CW network, will broadcast a two-hour special featuring highlights from this summer’s Just For Laughs Montreal Festival next season. They’ll also air a behind-the-scenes look at the infamous Montreal Festival that will feature some of the big stars of comedy, as well as new emerging talents.
Just for Laughs COO Bruce Hillis said “Just For Laughs couldn’t be more excited to be in partnership with the CW, who have had a banner year with such hits as Jane the Virgin, Supernatural and Reign.”
CW’s online and mobile platform, CW Seed, has also acquired a new digital series from Just For Laughs which will include a series of interviews with comedians from the festival and hours of stand up content from the vast Just For Laughs library.
Dates for the network special and the digital series launch will be announced at a later time.
