Chris Gethard Fans Carried Him To Work Today, Literally

About a week ago, Chris Gethard put out a call to arms to his biggest, and hopefully strongest fans. Gethard asked them via YouTube video to carry him– all 150 pounds-ish– to work for the first day of taping for his new show on FusionTV.
“We are going to test the resolve of the TCGS community, which is a strong one, which is why I kept the show going,” Gethard said in the video. “In a metaphorical way, I got to cable on the backs of my fans. We want to try to do that literally, Monday May 11, 7am it’s carry Chris to work day. I will get to cable, literally on the backs of my fans. I will leave my house in Brooklyn, I will get onto someone’s back. From that point forward, I will not touch the ground for close to four miles.”
This morning it all happened, over two different bridges and almost four miles to get from Chris’ house to the cable studios.
By now somehow, Chris Gethard has made it to his new studio. Did he make it without hitting the ground? Were there bumps along the way? Tune in on Monday May 28th to the new show on FusionTV to find out. Here are a few tweets of the journey.
