Sela Ward Is The New President In “Independence Day 2”

With a new “Independence Day” movie, comes a new President. Sela Ward has been cast to play the chief executive in the ID4 sequel. Bill Pullman will be reprising his role as President Whitmore who helped save the Earth from invading aliens. It’s not clear if Whitmore served his two terms in the sequel and has left Washington or was a one-term President who lost his re-election bid when he couldn’t carry Texas after nuking Houston.
