Colbert Going For Nanco Sea Captain Look
Should everyone be getting ready for a nautical themed Late Show on CBS when September comes? Stephen Colbert tweeted out this pic showing off his beard and new Poop Deck Pappy look.
Colbert has been growing out his beard during the Summer of Stephen while he waits to take over the Late Show from David Letterman. Of course, the Summer of Stephen has lasted through the Winter and Spring. He signed off of “The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central last December and now he’s schedule to premiere the brand new Late Show on Tuesday, September 8th at 11:35pm et on CBS.
The captain’s hat and pipe are a nice touch to the bearded late night host. Captain Colbert’s first guests are rumored to be the Gorton’s Fisherman and Aquaman.
