It’s the Bible meets true crime fiction in the new film about Jesus’ resurrection, “Risen”. Joseph Fiennes plays the fictional Clavius, Roman Centurion and detective, who gets an assignment from Pontius Pilate to find out what happened to the body of “The Nazarene” in the days and weeks after Jesus’ tomb was found empty. It’s described as the story of the resurrection as told through the eyes of a non-believer. “Risen” co-stars Peter Firth as Pilate, Cliff Curtis as Jesus and Tom Felton (not as Draco Malfoy). “Risen” is in theaters Friday, Jan. 22nd, 2016.
