In these new clips from FX, we find out more about the history of the band in the new comedy, “Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll” starring Denis Leary. He stars as Johnny Rock the lead singer of The Heathens, a band that was all set for success in the 90s, but it falls apart quickly because of Johnny’s substance abuse and the problem of sleeping with his lead guitarist Flash’s (John Corbett) wife. Now the band is back and looking for the success in the 21st century that eluded them decades earlier.

Learn some music history about the Heathens in these sit down videos from FX. Find out Johnny Rock’s early influences from Flash and Johnny himself. Learn the bands and the drugs both that brought the Heathens their sound. Johnny and Flash finally confront that whole “sleeping with the guitarist’s wife” incident from 25 years ago.
