Louis C.K. Hosting Saturday Night Live Season Finale May 16th
NBC announced the final hosts for the 40th anniversary season of Saturday Night Live. Louis C.K. will be back as host for the season finale on Saturday, May 16th.
There are three SNL live shows left this year with all them happening in May. The first of final shows of the season will be Saturday, May 2nd with Scarlett Johansson as the host. Marvel’s Black Widow will be promoting her new film, the first big blockbuster of the Summer 2015 movie season , “Avengers: Age of Ultron” which opens the day before on May 1st. Wiz Khalifa will make his Saturday Night Live debut as Scarlett Johansson’s musical guest.
A week later, Reese Witherspoon hosts Saturday Night Live for her second time with musical guests Florence + the Machine who are becoming SNL vets with their third appearance on the show. Reese Witherspoon’s new comedy co-starring Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara, “Hot Pursuit” arrives in theaters nationwide on Friday, May 8th.
Saturday Night Live’s history-making 40th season wraps up on Saturday, May 16th with Louis C.K. coming back to host for his third time. The musical guest will be Rihanna, making her 5th appearance on SNL. Louis’ brand new comedy special, “Louis C.K. Live at the Comedy Store” is currently available on LouisCK.net and makes its television debut on FX at 11pm et on Thursday, May 28th right after the season 5 finale of “Louie”
