Ralphie May is putting it all down in print. He recently signed a deal with St. Martin’s Press to write his memoir. The book may not be finished, but the title is done. His autobiography will be called “Making It Big” which works two ways. He’s an accomplished comedian and is heavy-set. See how it works?
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the book is a collaboration with Ralphie May and author Nils Parker. It will tell the stories of Ralphie’s life as a comedian and his life growing up poor in rural Tennessee. Ralphie said, “My book will kick your ass and melt your face. If you haven’t read a comedy book, start here.”
The book is expected to also include his time on the first season of Last Comic Standing where Ralphie was the 1st runner up. “Making It Big” is due out next year.
