Amy Sedaris Belts Out a Medley For Dave
David Letterman is on Amy Sedaris’ list of the five most important men in her life, so for her 34th and most likely final appearance, she wasn’t going to let Dave wrap his show without a proper medley. All the best people sing their farewell’s to Dave.
Dave appropriately asked…can you sing? It’s not that he wasn’t appreciative, but he said, it may have been a little peculiar.
In case the song didn’t adequately express her feelings, Amy also shared some words, telling Dave he has the best crew, the best lighting, the best audience, the best backstage team, and she always has a dress hanging up in case she gets a lass minute call. “You’re like a New York staple, you’re like the Turkish baths on 10th street, you’re like scaffolding! You’re near every subway, we’re in love!”
