Paste Magazine pulled this quote from a recent interview Wilson did with The Guardian. “I don’t know what that is. Punk rock? Punk? What is that?” And then, “Oh yeah. I never went for that. I never went for the fast kind of music. I go for the more medium tempo. Spencer Davis, I liked that.”
When people are not calling Brian Wilson a genius, they are insinuating that he is retarded.
