Taraji P. Henson Hosts Saturday Night Live Tonight

Academy Award nominated actress Taraji P. Henson will make her SNL hosting debut tonight, which will also be her live television debut. Henson stars as Cookie on the megahit television series, “Empire,” which just aired its season finale.  She received the Oscar nom for her role as Queenie in the film “The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons” and has also been nominated for a primetime Emmy.

Kenan Thompson promises the show is going to be off the chain, and Taran Killam just can’t get a take down.  Monster Taran.  You’re a monster.  Never forget that.

In anticipation of her hosting gig tonight, she answered a few fan questions.  Here’s the short answers, no, she’s not a badass bitch in real life, she’s always wanted to be a Conehead, and her favorite SNL performer is “all of them.”

Musical guests Mumford & Sons be making their second Saturday Night Live appearance. Their third studio album, “Wilder Mind,” will be released on May 4, and the band will headline ‘Gentlemen of the Road Stopover’ events in the U.S. and U.K. this summer.

Taraji makes her Saturday Night Live debut tonight at 11:30pm et on NBC.
