SNL Pep Boys Campaign To Talk About Sexual Identity Issues

This past week, Starbucks bailed on its “Race Together” campaign where the company encouraged its baristas to start conversations about race relations in America with its customers. Saturday Night Live had a sequel to that promotion. In this SNL short, where Starbucks left off with race, Pep Boys automotive service stores pick up with opening the dialogue on gender and sexual identity.

#GenderFlect is the Pep Boys promotion that has mechanics and auto parts experts engaging you in topics like gender transitioning, sexual orientation and people who are born intersex during that long long wait for your car to be repaired. Find out how your local Pep Boys dealer’s employees feel about people having both boy and girl parts, sex change operations and why gays are so lucky. Just so you know, it’s going to make that wait for your car a little bit longer.
