Jason Alexander To Take Over For Larry David In “Fish In The Dark”

The new play written by and starring Larry David is a Broadway box office smash. Tickets are next to impossible to come by through Larry David’s run which ends on June 7th. According to Deadline, the play will go on even after Larry David leaves the show. Jason Alexander will take over the role of Norman Drexel played by Larry. In “Fish In The Dark”, Norman Drexel deals with his family and the insanity that goes on as his father passes away and his relatives go through the grieving process.
Jason Alexander is a natural to take over the role. He played George Costanza on the hit TV series “Seinfeld” created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David. The “George Costanza” character was based on Seinfeld’s real life relationship with Larry David.
Tony winner, Jason Alexander said he was thrilled to get back to Broadway where he won his award for “Jerome Robbins’ Broadway” in 1989. He said, “I left Broadway 25 years ago because Larry David co-created the show that would change my life and career. It is totally amazing that he also created the show that would bring me back to Broadway. I am thrilled I get to do this hilarious play for him and with this wonderful cast. It is quite simply more fun than any bald man should have.”
“Fish in the Dark” is playing now at the Cort Theater in New York City. For tickets, go to FishInTheDark.com.
Good Luck.
