Described as a Coen Brother style western, the Sundance hit from a debut writer/director John Maclean has a lot going for it. Besides current favorite movie tough guy Michael Fassbender, the movie is violent, darkly funny, and the decidedly “weird”-something that the trailer certainly tries to express. Starring The Road’s Kodi Smit-McPhee, making another dangerous journey into the unknown, and featuring supporting performances from Erroll Shand, Rory McCann, Kalani Queypo, Brooke Williams, Caren Pistorius and Ben Mendelosohn in a really furry coat.
