Jimmy Kimmel Gets to the Bottom of Adam Carolla’s New Movie
Adam Carolla has been out doing press for his new movie Roadhard and finally made his way around to Jimmy Kimmel’s show. Kimmel quickly addresses the awkwardness, “the basic essence of the film seems very similar to our life stories– we hosted a cable television show together and then I went to do a talk show, and you were doing a podcast and stand up comedy. But in your movie, the guy who plays me is a jerk.” Carolla tells Kimmel to check the ego. Must Kimmel weave himself into every story? Does he think in Jurassic Park the T-Rex is a metaphor for him? We never do find out why the Kimmel character is so mean, but Carolla does say he’s sick of phone calls from press that have nothing to do with him or his career, and are only looking for quotes from him on Jimmy Kimmel.
One week before the movie came out even- a call from Entertainment Weekly turned out to be about a cover story about Jimmy Kimmel.
