Local Ads hold a weird place in our hearts. Yes, we’re talking about those small companies that make their own ads and fill them with enough love, weirdness and creativity to get your attention on a non-existent budget. After holding a contest for the best local ads on television, we had so many that we loved that we couldn’t choose just one winner. And even after putting up our top 6 we felt like too much talent was left off the table. So now we bring you our list of the twenty best local ads, past and present. Enjoy.

This was the ad that sparked the idea for this list. It’s really unbeatable. The benchmark by which all local ads are judged.

You WILL be singing this song for days, and wishing you had good bbq where you live.

3. Jesus Christ Bail Bonds. Maryland
Talk about creativity? It’s overflowing. Of course, they don’t quite have acoustics and editing down.

Momoneymotaxes.com has a long and colorful past that includes accusations of some unsavory practices, and the CEO getting arrested in 2011.
