Rove McManus to Host New Comedy Game Show

Finally it’s a chance to find out which comedian is the biggest liar. Next month, the Game Show Network premieres its new original game show competition, “Lie Detectors”. On the show, it’s three comedians versus the entire studio audience. The object is that the audience has to decide when the comics are lying or not. The audience member who can tell truth from fiction in the fastest time picks up a prize and then faces the panel in a three against one competition for big cash.
The comedians will be either be telling the truth or making up lies about things like celebrity tweets, phone apps and late night infomercials. The host of “Lie Detectors” is Australian comedian, presenter and three time “Gold Logie” winner (that is a huge deal down under), Rove McManus. He’s a regular on @midnight on Comedy Central and hosted FOX’s 2014 Summer improv series “Riot”.
“Lie Detectors” premieres Monday, April 30th at 6:30pm et on Game Show Network. The guest comedians for the debut episode will be Sherrod Small, Michelle Buteau and Christian Finnegan.
