Norm Macdonald Takes a Souvenir From the Letterman Set

Last night on David Letterman Norm Macdonald shared a story from his sitcom. You may remember it. It was called “Norm” and he played “Norm.”

In the second clip, Norm talks about his ruminations and whittlings on what the phrase “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” means, and we think he may have figured it out. You’ll also hear Norm talk about his pal Bob Uecker’s dirty mouth.

Later he realized it might be his last time ever on the show, so he asked if he could take a souvenir. We won’t give away Norm’s choice, you’ll have to watch the clip yourself to find out, but things got sentimental and Dave called Norm one of his favorite guests, and then Norm called Dave his hero and sure enough the conversation came around to Johnny Carson, which of course, led to everyone sharing their favorite George Miller jokes.
