In the ongoing lawsuit involving ‘Blurred Lines’ & Marvin Gaye’s family, Pharrell is claiming that Gaye barely influenced the song and that he was actually inspired by Miley Cyrus. The inspiration came during a recording session with Miley where they experimented with different yodeling and bluegrass sounds. Model Emily Ratajkowski was then brought in to reenact the song’s music video to the delight of everyone in the courtroom.
