For Your Oscar Consideration, “Big Birdman”

Sesame Street is continuing to get more surreal. First Cookie Monster shared his pot thoughts at a museum in a video this week. Now, Big Bird has released a trailer for his new movie “Big Birdman”.

Co-starring the original man under the feathers, muppeteer Caroll Spinney, “Big Birdman” recreates the trailer for the Academy Award nominated film “Birdman” starring Michael Keaton. Spinney looks back at his career as the large infantile bird and wonders how did they get here? How do you get to Sesame Street!? Hopefully this leads to more Sesame Street Best Picture nominee parodies including Oscar the Grouch as the abusive drum teacher and conductor living in a garbage can in “Whip-Trash”.

If it’s not too late to get an Oscar nomination in before the Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday, please consider “Big Birdman Or (The Unexpected Virtue of Orange Pants)”.
