“The Jack and Triumph Show” premieres tonight on Adult Swim. The show stars comedy’s most verbally vicious bad dog and the overly cheerful NBC page from “30 Rock”. Jack McBrayer and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog play the fictional stars of an old “Lassie” style TV series about a boy and his dog. Jack, the once beloved child star, has finally got his life back on track since the series was cancelled years earlier. He had followed his co-star Triumph into a life of debauchery and decadence. On “The Jack and Triumph Show”, the two are reunited as Triumph reappears in Jack’s life now that it’s back in balance.

Jack McBrayer and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, created and voiced by Robert Smigel (SNL, Late Night with Conan O’Brien), have been making the talk show rounds promoting tonight’s debut on Adult Swim. Included in the promotional tour was Triumph’s visit to the set of TNT’s “Inside The NBA”. He talked and insulted the hosts Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley. Things went about as well as could be expected until things got personal between Charles Barkley and Triumph. Unfortunately for Barkley and his pet dogs Mango and Yoohoo, Triumph is the type of dog who humps and tells.

Watch the series premiere of “The Jack and Triumph Show” co-starring Academy Award nominee June Squibb (wait, what?) tonight at 11:30pm et on Adult Swim.
