Monique claims in a new interview that she was blackballed by Hollywood following her 2010 Oscar win for the film ‘Precious’. The actress claims that director Lee Daniels told her that she was blackballed during a phone conversation causing Daniels to say publicly that it was Monique and her husband’s demands during her Oscar campaign that hurt her career. Maybe this finally explains why Monique wasn’t cast in “The Avengers”.
