Watch T.J. Miller’s Opening Remarks At The Crunchies

The 8th Annual Crunchies Awards presented TechCrunch were hosted by T.J. Miller from HBO’s “Silicon Valley”. The awards recognize the year’s best startups and internet and technology innovations of the year.
In the video of T.J. Miller welcoming the audience to the Crunchies, found on Reddit, he prepared to address the crowd that has an industrial vocabulary all its own. As per his warning, you had to be in the industry to understand his remarks. He knows he’s got to entertain a room full of startup CEOs and coders. So he hits on everything in their world including Clinkle, Tinder, the Sony Hack, and even tech investor Shervin Pishevar.
He also works his way through an introduction of himself as an actor on a show called “Silicon Valley” that makes fun of the place they all work called Silicon Valley. T.J. is also not very kind to the Crunchie award itself.
You can see T.J. Miller on “Silicon Valley” when it returns for season 2, starting Sunday, April 12th at 10pm et on HBO.
