Leno Staffer Rips Conan

Page Six is bringing back the Leno-Conan feud with some excerpts from a new book by longtime Leno writer Jon Macks. He writes about Conan in his new book, “Monologue: What Makes America Laugh . . . Before Bed.”
He doesn’t have many complimentary things to say about Conan O’Brien who took over the Tonight Show from Jay Leno in 2009. Conan lasted less than a year as host of the show before NBC brought Leno back.
Macks writes, “He has been on the air for 22 years, but he still has the same nervous tics he had in 1993.” He added, “At bedtime people want to ease into sleep,” Macks adds, saying that “for some people [O’Brien] is hard to watch onstage.”
Oh shit son, you just got Jay Walked!
