Netflix did some shopping at the Sundance Film Festival and bought the rights to the documentary “Hot Girls Wanted”. The film looks at how the porn industry has changed with the internet amateur video boom and for young women looking for instant fame. Attitudes toward online porn and opportunities have changed as well. “Hot Girls Wanted” follows one girl in particular who finds online fame to be fleeting.

The documentary is produced by Rashida Jones from “Parks and Recreation” who talked about teaming with Netflix on its release. She said, “I am so proud of this movie. “Hot Girls Wanted” manages to tell a very intimate story within the ubiquitous, multibillion dollar and thriving porn industry, a story that will resonate with audiences across the country. Netflix is the ideal partner for us; not only do they understand this film but they’re the perfect platform to reach the many people who need to see it.”

Men across the country just cheered because they saw the word porn.
