NFL Seizes Richard Sherman’s Headphones

At Super Bowl Media Day, a fan handed Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman a set of headphones that were quickly confiscated by the NFL. The problem was that the phones were Sonys. The league has a deal with Bose while Sherman has a personal endorsement deal with Beats by Dre. The NFL’s rule is that it “prohibits players from wearing or using products while their logo is visible until 90 minutes after the conclusion of a game.” Sherman is also still waiting approval from the NFL to use the term “Super Bowl” while doing interviews.
