The First Teaser For The “Wet Hot American Summer” Prequel Series Has Dropped
This will make you feel like it’s ’81 all over again or at least ’01. Netflix is bringing back the 2001 cult classic “Wet Hot American Summer” as an 8 episode series this Summer. Where the movie focused on the last day of Summer at Camp Firewood in 1981, the new Netflix series takes place on the first day.
They got the entire original cast back on board for it, plus director David Wain returns as well. Returning to camp are, Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Michael Showalter, Marguerite Moreau, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, Christopher Meloni, Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Judah Friedlander, Zak Orth and A.D. Miles.
Here’s hoping they were able to re-sign that can of mixed vegetables, because that guy stole the show. Wonder what he’s up to now!?
