Brooks Wheelan Lets Down Bonnaroo Partier
When Brooks Wheelan was let go from Saturday Night Live, one of the people who first contacted him was a woman he had met while he was partying.
Brooks offered a woman “SNL” tickets in exchange for glow sticks during a Skrillex concert at the Bonnaroo Music Festival, where Wheelan said he was on ecstasy. After he was canned , so were her tickets.
Brooks tells the story on his new comedy album, “This is Cool, Right?”. According to Page Six, he said, “the first person to reach out wasn’t my mom or my agent…it was Dana from Bonnaroo. She just texted, ‘noooooooooooo!’ Like a thousand ‘o’s’…I was like, I would have tried harder. I’ll text ya Bobby Moynihan’s information.”
