In a new interview, Marilyn Manson claims he coined the term ‘Grunge’ in a review of Nirvana’s debut album ‘Bleach’ while working as a music journalist.
“Nirvana was different. That was one of the bands I covered first as a journalist and I’m just going to go ahead and say I coined the term “grunge” in a review of Bleach. You’re welcome”, said Manson.
Manson also claims he started the rumor that Mikey from the Life Cereal commercials was killed after mixing pop rocks and soda. Neither claim has been verified.
