“Fail Mary” Ref Now Claims He Has PTSD
This might be a bad time to bring this up, but do you remember the “Fail Mary” referee? You know, the guy who called a Packers interception a Seahawks touchdown? Lance Easley claims his life is ruined, he’s lost his banking job, his wife divorced him, he’s been blackballed from refereeing because he crossed a picket line, and he’s suffering from PTSD. And as Green Bay travels to Seattle this Sunday, he’ll be praying for sympathy for a junior college ref who worked as a scab in America’s most-watched league. Of course, it’s important to remember Lance Easley was only a side judge: it was head official Wayne Elliot who overruled back judge Derrick Rhone-Dunn, who was right behind the play.
