Ricky Gervais Announces One Hour “Derek” Special, Fank You Netflix!

Ricky Gervais’ weekend is starting out strong. Not only is he up for a Golden Globe award on Sunday for his Netflix show “Derek”, but Gervais announced on Twitter that the series is getting a one hour special on the streaming service on April 3rd.
Ricky tweeted that he and the Broad Hill retirement community gang will be back on Netflix allowing everyone to catch up with Derek’s favorite people. In the series created, written and directed by and starring Ricky Gervais, he plays the Derek a sweet, gentle and naive employee at a nursing home. He loves his job and the residents more than anything. Except possibly for animals, which he’ll talk about non-stop.
In the special, things are happening for Hannah, Derek’s best friend and co-worker at the home. Her relationship with Tom may be getting deeper and her conflict with Kev sends him off missing.
The one hour “Derek” special will be available on Netflix starting Friday, April 3rd. You can also stream the first 2 seasons of “Derek” now on Netflix.
And remember, “Be nice to animals”.
