Cosby Does Show in Ontario, Ejects Heckler and Jokes About Rape Allegations
The show went on for Bill Cosby in London, Ontario. He even did a joke alluding to the drugging and sexual assault allegations against him. As a woman got up during his performance and walked past the stage, Cosby asked her where she was going. She replied she was headed to the lobby for a drink. Cosby came back with “You have to be careful about drinking around me” which was reportedly met with some gasps from crowd followed by huge applause.
According to CBC News in Canada, not everything went easy for the Cos. A heckler called out at him during his show, yelling “You’re a rapist”. The audience began to react as the man was eventually removed from the theater. Cosby called for peace from the stage, saying “No, no, stop. Shh, no clapping right now. That’s all right. Patience.”
