The Interview’s Been Bootlegged And Downloaded 200,000 Times In 24 Hours

After “The Interview” hit the internets, it got ripped and uploaded via Bit Torrent almost immediately. That’s led to at least 200k people illegally downloading it. The illegal downloading started about an hour after the film’s 1 pm et release on YouTube, XBox, Google Play, and other online avenues on Christmas Day.
A lot of the pirating came from international users who didn’t have access to “The Interview” through the US. release sites. The file-sharing website Torrent Freak told Breitbart, “It’s definitely a high-profile release, and there are a lot of downloads already”.
Now we can definitely say the terrorists didn’t win, but the hackers did.
