Seth Rogen and James Franco Cancel All Press Amid New Threats

Earlier today Deadline reported that the group behind the recent Sony hacks was now threatening theaters showing “The Interview” and making references to the September 11 attacks. Now Deadline is reporting that Seth Rogen and James Franco have cancelled their press tour for the entire week, including appearances on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Late Night With Seth Meyers. They also cancelled a scheduled interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. Just yesterday Rogen appeared on the Howard Stern show and compared the hacks to terroristic acts, prompting some tough criticism from the New York Daily News.
No specific threats have been made directly against Rogen or Franco, at least none that have been released, and it appears that the cancellation is precautionary in nature.
