Instagram Now Tops Twitter In Monthly Users

Facebook paid $1 billion for Instagram in 2012, and now the photo sharing app has surpassed Twitter in monthly users with 300 million to Twitters count of 284. Instagram also announced that it will soon give out verified accounts to celebrities and brands in a similar fashion to Twitter. Since you began reading this post, more photos have been taken than in the 150 years since the camera was invented.
