Cosby Accuser Files Defamation Suit

If you were wondering why Bill Cosby has been silent about the allegations against him, here’s one possible reason. Perhaps he didn’t want to open the door to defamation suits like the one Tamara Green just filed in federal court in Massachusetts. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Green claims that when Cosby’s lawyer called her claims “absolutely false” he essentially branded her a liar and held her up to public ridicule. Green has alleged and maintains that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her in the 70s. She first spoke publicly about the assault in 2005.
